Stepping outside.
Rolling the windows down in the car.
Tucking the blankets around him in the bed.
But “the fog” was relentless.
We asked him to warn us in case our mouths were open.
He never did.
I’m not sure if the steroids further irritated the condition, but since he has stopped steroids the climate here has become more… “temperate.”
