Colin’s Introduction

Colin’s journey begins as he introduces himself in his first journal entry and explains his disease, it’s symptoms, and the impact it’s had on his life. This will always be at the top of the homepage so new visitors can watch.

  1. Thank you for creating this Colin. I hate being so far away from you and Christine, but please know I am always thinking of you both.

  2. Hey,

I want you and Christine to know that you are both awesome people and I wish the best for both of you. One step at a time!

  3. Hey Colin,

I’m the community manager over at Apture and I just wanted to say that I hope you pull through this.

    Andrew

  4. I love you very much and all you or anyone in your family has to do is call and I will do whatever is asked.

  5. i came through here because there was an ad on the myspace having to do with tool’s frontman, maynard james keenan. i’m not even sure what made me click on the ad… i’m not a big fan of myspace, and i never click on ads for anything. not even if it’s tool.

and since i got here, i’ve spent some time reading. part of it is curiosity… i’ve never personally been close to anyone with any kind of cancer. but most of it is love for another human being, one with a special someone, with a mom and dad, with a brother, and countless friends.

i feel odd leaving this comment. everyone else here seems to know colin, to love him. i’m just a stranger coming through with tears and this developing insane hope for the future of colin and everyone whose life he is an integral part of.

i’m in parkersburg, west virginia, and i’m sticking around.

much love, hope, and inner peace.

Access Medline or Pubmed, and enter “antidepressants” and “cancer.” +60 studies attesting to the remarkable anticancer properties of antidepressants. Quite possibly applies to all cancers. Considerable evidence regarding gliomas.
Lieb,J.”Defeating cancer with antidepressants.” D01.10.3332/eCMS.2008.88. The fourth review I have published since 2001. May have to experiment to match antidepressant to you. Please relay this message to others on your blog.

  7. Remy, you’re 1 more positive influence on my brother.
That’s what matters most and that makes you a friend, now.

Thank you supporting and thinking of him.

    Stay Positive. Do the work,
    -Eric

Hey Colin, I saw a link for this on Karen’s facebook. I wanted you to know that miracles happen everyday… and that if there were anyone that deserved it… it would be you! I am keeping you, Christine, and your family in my prayers… and just know that love conquers all… and it is already obvious that you are completely surrounded by so much love. Cancer sucks! I’m buying a bracelet!
    With Love,
    Erin (from the Caban…)

  9. Meditation and yoga will help you to stop smoking. Good luck. My best wishes. Maya

Hey Collin, I saw this site on the back of a Messick car in Danville today. I hadn’t heard anything about it and I was in utter shock. I haven’t talked to you since high school, but I want you to know that my prayers are with you. You’ve always been a strong willed person and I have all the faith in the world that if anyone can beat this you will with the love and support from your family. My dad is currently fighting two types of cancer so I know what your family and friends are going through and so my thoughts and prayers will be with them as well. I’m sure they have been your strength through all of this. I will definitly check back on here to see how you are doing.
